Giverny Inn is located on Waiheke Island, just a 35-minute passenger-ferry ride from
downtown Auckland, 45-minute vehicle-ferry ride from Half Moon Bay, or a 30-minute
flight from Auckland International Airport. Giverny's hosts can arrange for guests to be met
at the Waiheke ferry terminals or the airport, for the 10-minute drive to the lodge.
Transport can also be provided for departing guests.
Situated at 44 Queens Drive, adjacent to Hekerua Bay, Giverny enjoys 200° views of Hauraki Gulf and its islands - views are from Coromandel right around to the Sky Tower and Auckland Harbour Bridge. The lodge also looks down on Oneroa Bay, where at night the bay twinkles with the mast lights of yachts and launches.
There are many wonderful walks from Giverny on Waiheke, and you can fish from the rocks in the bay below and walk to six safe swimming beaches. Please see our links page for more things to do during your stay on Waiheke Island including visiting vineyards, island tours, shopping and dining out.
